Thanks for the help There is nothing basically wrong with using an output object to send to the unit, and return it through an input. Indeed, this is the way to go if you are sending to an external reverb unit, for example. If you want to insert a compressor into a logic audio channel, use the I/O plug in. Select the appropriate output and input in the I/O, corresponding to your audio hardware. Beware of any latency .... HTH, kind regards Mark Cahill
