I started a thread a few days ago about noise issues that I had with a brand new MDD 1.2ghz G4. I returned the machine and have now ordered what I thought would be my 'dream machine', the 2.0 G5. I"m now getting a serious case of the jitters having read the postings the last few days about the 'chirping' and other noise issues. My Mac supplier said that Apple mysteriously stopped shipping the G5 2.0 machines and he suspected this was due to a problem that they are hopefully addressing. Jeesh...
