Just memorize the key command (Command-S) and do it after any significant work has been done. It's so fast that it doesn't subtract from any workflow (it didn't even a decade ago, when computers were way slower). Logic can even save while in PLAY mode. If there was an autosave feature, I would definitely NEVER turn it on.
