Subject: Re: BIG BUG: Multipressor Munges Stereo Field?
Message #165766
This is a reply to #165642.
> One stereo track, panned hard left; Multipressor on the master output. > As soon as you insert the Multipressor the audio is now full stereo; > the top two bands (in terms of frequency) are left channel only, bottom > two bands appear in the right channel. Amazing, has this not been > discussed before? To me it seems like a HUGE bug in the plugin, unless > I'm missing something here... > > Brian When you are panning a stereo channel to the left you arent actually panning it left youre changing the central position of it arent you? It sounds much more reasonable to test the phase by doing what other people have suggested which is to take a left hand only signal into a stereo channel and then multipress that. Everyone else who has tried this is saying that there is no signal generated in the right hand side - which kinda negates the argument that something strange is going on doesnt it? STEPHE
