Yesterday somebody informed about the existence of Receptor, an independent 2u rack VST host, it can run until 16 instruments and 57 effects, so many questions came to my head...there are other alternatives like this for those like me that have a low G4 system? It seems to be compatible with Mac and Logic but...what about AU support? Is Receptor a better option than Powercore or UAD-1? It would be possible to execute Logic plug-ins in in Receptor (o systems like this)? Can you imagine 8 ES2, 8 ESX24 and 20 SpaceDesigners (or whatever you want) without stole CPU power from your main CPU? Maybe just a dream....
