That's the same error message I sometimes get when opening a CPU intensive project from my dual 2 GHz G5 on my Powerbok 1,25 GHz. But those songs usually open up anyway and I will have to freeze a lot of those soft-synth tracks before hitting "play" - or Logic will die and crash. On the other hand I'm producing a lot with the Moog Modular V on this Powerbook. I can run five to sex instances with no problem but then I have to start freezing. So it should work on your machine. Maybe you did not set the OSX system preferences to "Highest Performane" under "Energy Saver?" (just a wild guess) All the best Per Boysen --- http://www.boysen.se http://www.looproom.com
