Subject: [GEN] multipressor use?
Message #165481
Hey y'all. I'm recording an album right now, and for the heck of it, I used the multipressor on a drum loop (the loop had bass, drum, and snare on it); the multipressor was effective in livening & fattening the loop. I have an inklink the multipressor should be used primarily for mastering, but it seems to be an effective insert when you need a little magic. I know the ultimate test is "does it sound good?" but I'm concerned I'm getting addicted to the convenience & fatness of the multipressor sound. Possible dangers, I'd guess: making the whole mix TOO LOUD, too murky, and phase problems. Any advice from seasoned Logicians?? Thanks, RG
