Could be one of a thousand things, but try some of these-
This may be too obvious, but under "Audio-->Audio Hardware and
Drivers" make
sure the 828mkII is selected in the pop-up menu in the CoreAudio driver...
make sure the piano track isn't muted in the arrange window AND the channel
isn't
muted in the mixer window. (also make sure channel 1 isn't muted)
Make sure the output of the track is routed in the mixer channel strip to
the standard
output going to your 828mkII (Output 1-2 or whatever your 828 says).
When you play back your MIDI part, watch the meter on your 828mkII -if
nothing is
appearing in the meter, then there's something in Logic that needs to be
changed - if
you're getting a meter signal but no sound, you might check your amp and
monitors,
etc.
