THANKS A LOT TO MARKUS AND JOHN PITCAIRN
for great advice.
Both the 'megasong' and multiple apps in OS X are great solutions.
I have a question for John about multiple copies of Logic: how does
Logic Control deal with
this situation?
As far as megasong, I've tried this before, but I still have a
problem importing the environments. The 'update environment'
routine eludes me: I always end up with multiple copies of the
same objects, probably due to different ID numbers being assigned
to objects that to my EYES look the same. It's a fair bit of work
importing tempo maps and changing meters too. If it's all 4/4 with
default environments I'd say the megasong idea is the way to go.
Unfortunately for me, I'm dealing with a fair bit of complex stuff
THAT I MUST SIMPLIFY! Logic lets you go wild, but then the cleanup
can be a pain...
I will likely try a combination of megasong and multiple renamed
copies of Logic.
Thanks guys!
