Subject: re: Logic Platinum live: fastest song change time?

AFAIK, no. You can use meta events to change screensets and jump to markers, but opening completely new songs is not possible without touching the mouse and/or computer keyboard. The actual time to change the song depends greatly on how big and complex the new song is, the speed of your computer (and your movements :), and a million other things. But since different markers can have different sounds and tempo etc, you can probably just make one "master song" and have "sub songs" as markers, and use your MIDI keyboard or whatever controller to move between the markers (that's what I do, although I don't have any prerecorded tracks in Logic, but the basic idea is the same). Speaking of which.. I'm testing my new Powerbook setup for the first time with the rest of the band today. Wish me luck. :) -- --- Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen ---- Senior Web Developer & Audio Producer ----- captain@... / www.futuremark.com
