Subject: Logic Pro look (fonts, etc.)
Message #164306
Hi All: Thanks to everyone who calmed my Logic Fears (the Logic Pro installer in fact did not need any previous L5 installation, despite what my error message said). So now I've got Logic Pro installed on my new Powerbook, and I have another question: in all the photos and screenshots I've seen depicting Logic Pro in action, all the menus, names of the tracks and instruments in the Arrange window, etc. have an OSX kind of look. I guess that's mainly because those program elements are using the same font that OSX itself does. However, in my version of LPro, all the text has more of an OS9 look. Is there any way I can change this? I recall that in LAW 5, there was a field in Preferences where I could select the updated look or revert to "4.x style". Is there anything like this in Logic Pro. I realize this qualifies as a mere quibble, but I admit to being bugged by it. Any help/advice welcome.
