Hi, I have two FW800 250GB LaCie drives and one FW400 80GB Firelite drive on a dual 2.0 G5 with 10.3.3 and have never had the problem you discribe. The other hardware connected are AMT8 and 828mkII. Perhaps it's an issue with your other hardware? Not that it's the same, but I recently had to disconnect all hardware in order to be able to authorize my Waves plug-ins. Strange things can happen when you have hardware connected... Patrick
