Did the 6.4.2 update (or the latest 10.3.4 OS X update) have any
positive effect on the the problems folks are having recording at 96kHz
under OS X? I haven't run the update yet due to the problems being
reported, but one thing that would make me hasten to install it is a
resolution of the 96kHz problems.
I'm under the impression that this issue is more CoreAudio-related than
Logic, but it never hurts to hope...
(For those who are tempted to answer with "why don't you try it and
see," I have a big project looming, probably no less than 24-32 audio
tracks, for which I'd like to record @ 96kHz, but the last thing I want
is to get partway finished and then have to resample everything because
Logic/OS X can't keep up.)
Thanks!
Brian
