Hi Listers I've just upgraded to Logic pro and am exploring the EXS24 for the first time. The Emagic EXS24 mkII manual states that you select the EXS24 from the list of plug ins in the first plug in slot of an audio instrument.The accompanying diagram shows this slot to be the upper most insert of the audio instrument strip. This is not the case with my version 6.4.1 pro. The only place that I can access the EXS24 is in the upper most I/O slot of the audio instrument strip. Actually all of the software instruments appear here and not in the insert slots. Am I doing something wrong? <Admin - you are right. This was changed in a "5.xx" version of logic, seems they haven't gotten around to updating their documentation> Regards Jim
