Subject: [LUG] LAWP 5 and Kompakt
Message #162658
This is a reply to #162543.
I've been running into a weird issue lately - mainly with larger sessions. If I have a bunch of kompakt instances open (8 with 8 sounds each - or just larger sound banks) - I will randomly get an error from logic stating "Warning - Memory Short". Kompakt then reloads all the sounds and this process happenes again when editing a midi track or moving a fader. If i cancel the error message instead of continue, Logic Crashes. This is the first time in a few years that my logic has actually **Crashed** - and this is only an issue when kompkt is involved. The only interesting thing I notice is when kompakt is loaded with a lot of stuff, in the transport below the tempo section - the free midi events is at 1000 events or less. Any Ideas? I've listed what i have beleow just incase - but kompakt is the 1st ive seen this happen.
