This is my best guess:
Sometimes there are two (or more) objects in the environment assigned
to the same 'cha' parameter. If you have "arrange track 1" (not
"cha
track 1") assigned to object A and "arrange track 2" assigned
to
object B, and object A & B are assigned to "cha track 1", then
automation on one arrange track will affect the other but it won't be
obvious why. Go thru all your arrange tracks and make sure anything
that looks like it's assigned to the same object truly is assigned to
the *same object* in the *same layer* of the environment.
Because of this flexibility in the environment it is possible to have
tracks which have different, even conflicting, automation controlling
objects which are essentially the same. But different.
Oh, don't forget to check for hidden tracks which may be contributing
to this behavior.
Is that clear? Let me know, it can get confusing.
