Subject: Matrix editor suggestions / bug?
Message #162608
-When moving the start position of a region in Matrix (the little block at the left upper corner) the grid should just follow, just like it does when I move the end position block. Now i have to move it bit by bit, not even a whole bar is possible. The same changes in resolution should apply as when moving notes or regions in arrange (holding control increases resolution snapping to 1/16 or 1/32 and finally holding control + shift sets it free completely). -When moving things around in arrange or Matrix the grid doesn't work like before. Just moving should be the lowest resolution snapping to whole beats or bars depending on zoom factor, while holding control increases resolution snapping to 1/16 or 1/32 and finally holding control + shift sets it free completely. Why is this feature, which is one of the best in Logic, changed? Or is this a bug or a "feature" in Logic 6? Cheers /Henrik
