Can not comment on all the stuff mentioned above ofcourse, but I have some of them; We're on a G5 2X2 Panther3.3 with 2,5 Gigs Ram. Logic Pro, UAD-1, The spectrasonics stuff, the NI stuff, ableton, etc. All work flawlessly on panther, no trouble in the world, whereas it used to be quite the opposite of your experiences on our OS9 setup. I do however recommend the G5's, cause we had lots of problems trying to run OSX on our previous machine, a G4. Really REALLY happy we made the switch, it hasn't run more stable than this ever for us. I take it it depends on what you put on the machine, and I bet it has helped a lot that ever since we made the jump we had to leave all those (k)'s for what they were and install 'clean' stuff only. Anyway, stable like a rock and so much more fun to work with. O.
