Without wishing to sound harsh, it sometimes amazes me how often questions are asked on the LUG to which there are answers in the FAQ, patiently waiting to be read ... I didn't play any sort of big role in setting it up, but for those who did, I can imagine that this is somewhat frustrating .... > The Yahoo message archive search is almost useless because it only > searchs a small number each time. Agreed - Yahoo's search function is not good, which is one of the reasons why Jeremy set up the connection from the LUG to Gmane as a readable Gmane resource, which is linked from the LUG homepage, and which can also be accessed here: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.audio.emagic.logic.users It seems to me that we need to constantly remind members of the existence of this, IMHO, very useful resource, (along of course with the FAQ), in both of which a lot of time and effort have been invested ..... so, people, don't be shy about using them :-). kind regards Mark Cahill
