I've never heard of Apple's pro user fee, and doubt it would avoid having to reauthorize your software and plugins. in fact i don't think there's a surefire way to copy the stuff over without having to reauthorize. at least with the XSKey it's a painless process. as for your other software and plugins it all depends on the authorization scheme. while it may be a little time-consuming I can't imagine it being a problem provided you have your serial/registration numbers stored in a safe place. Even those apps that require authorizing via Challenge/Response on the web (Native Instruments, Spectrasonics) are pretty quick about getting back to you with a response. If i were you i'd get all my registration info neatly organized and within arms reach of your new G5. good luck with the new computer! regards, brian
