Our G4 is only a Quicksilver 867; 10.3.2 was the first version of X3 we put up -- it was sooooo slow at screen draws, etc., so as to be outright painful. 10.3.3 was a huge pickup in performance but still too slow; you will probably get a much better boost toward something nice with your dual. I don't recall the details, but I seem to recall .3 was supposed to have a lot of GUI performance improvements over .2.... FWIW, combining this with a lot of other reasons, we decided to up to a 2G G5 fully loaded w/ 8G of memory (which, while we love it overall, has in turn given us some real problems being able to use our UAD card). -Glenn @ Schadowrider
