Subject: control surface or keyboard and mouse?
Message #162503
I'm very new to all this and am wondering about whether I should invest in a control surface or just Get a good audio interface and use my keyboard and mouse. Of the many posts I read both here and other places, there seems to be a lot with issues in regard to control surfaces interfacing with software properly. Do these same issues exist when using an audio interface with the keyboard and mouse? I know coming from an analog recording background a "mixer" is easier, but I don't care if it will save me from all these headaches others seem to be having. Thanks in advance for your input. Tim
