On 3/31/04, Willian Aleman put forth:

After you deconvolve your IR, you will end up with with space at the
beginning and end of the file that is nearly silent. The space at
the beginning will delay the reverb. So need need to trim the file,
and add short fades to the ends.
>And of course a 13 seconds length IR is a juice eater in the CPU.
Right. On my system (1GHz 1G RAM G4) there are IR's I've recorded
using SD that won't load into SD.

Obviously, it helps to sample a short reverb in the first place.

Can you record an IR of SD?? I never tried.
>By the way, I'm sampling my unit, the KSP8, not an acoustic place (yet)

You could also try using a noise burst instead of a sine sweep. Keep
in mind that sampling modulated reverbs won't "work" -- especially
using a sine sweep.
