glad to disagree, it does work, i do it all the time, it's one of my
favorites setups, oftentimes i do include compressors, eq's, pitch
changers, etc. the deal is you have to pan both busses to the center,
and, disable the outputs of the busses.
although there's something about it, it get's some sort of ugly
distortion that you don't get, with the same set up if you use a tdm
system.
so just center-pan your busses, if the objects do not exist then create
them, and pan them to the center, and disable the outputs.
then your aux objects shoud have as input the busses:
bus 1: output: none, panned to the center, yes, i know it makes no
sense but works.
bus 2: output: none, panned to the center, yes, i know it makes no
sense but works.
aux1: input: bus1, send to bus 2. output: your choice (1 and 2 or l+r)
aux2: input: bus2, sned to bus 1. output: your choice (1 and 2 or l+r)
i did report this behavior to emagic, about 2 years ago, but it's
remained the same.
