Dear Sascha,
I dont use any VST plugin or VST instrument!
only Rewire for Rebirth, but I didn't open the rebirth yet though..........
even if they stand alone LAWP, it still more good on 4.04!
any Idea again Sascha?

Yes, I too prefere to go back to 4.04 when I need that extra CPU power. It's
also much more stable than 4.1.1 on my Celeron400@450 128mb AW8. And I would
not trust 4.1.1 for a recording session with performing musicians.

Do you have any VST plugins loaded (read: activated via Plugin Enabler) in
4.1.1, especially VST instruments?
Logic allways seems to preload a portion of the plugin whenever you boot it.
You could perhaps try to deactivate some of them.
I didn't try LM4 by myself, but a friend of mine told me that he wasn't able
to load large samplesets into it, he even had to remove them from Logic's
Vstplugin directory just to be able to open other plugins.
