I assume you mean gating audio, e.g. bass guitar running on a particular audio channel? If so, you need to set up a noise gate on that channels' audio object in the track mixer or audio environment. Then set the "side chain" button to the number of the audio track where your bass drum is playing. Depending on how "clean" the bass drum has been recorded, you may need to gate it as well, or, try strip silence.
