Whenever I look for something based on prior > experience or where i think it should be, it isn't. Its a bit like going from automatic to manual gear shift, or from a paper based diary to a PDA. Personally, apart from bugs which get us all down, the Logic concept works for me and it answers my music making questions. I'm certain that the alternatives would as well, but in a different way. I wouldn't expect to find the answers phrased in the same way, or the questions prioritised in the same order. And some have differences which are so small and niggling they drive me mad! If you're considering a switch to Logic don't expect it to be a quick one. I happen to think it's possible to get going in minutes without understanding the intricacies of the environment etc. and then to uncover the power as one needs it. Other people say its unfathomable. Which ever way you go - happy music making. Dave
