Here's my way: For mono carriers and modulators: 1) Insert ReaktorFX plug on a bus or aux. In the ensemble structure view, add the Vocoder Instrument. Still in structure view, choose two audio inputs from the left side of the structure view and patch one each into Vocoder's Carrier and Modulator audio inputs. 2) Using Bus sends and appropriate outputs, send audio track of, i.e., vocals (for modulator) to the audio channel being fed to Vocoder's modulator input, and send output of any softsynth audio Instrument to the audio channel being fed to Vocoders' carrier input. IN the screenshot I'm sending you privately, an audio track combined with an Audio instrument are routed to bus 1 hard right (virtual output 2). The Male vocal track is bussed to bus 1 hard left (virtual output 1). Reaktor's structure shows that "input" 1 to Reaktor FX goes to the modulator input of the Vocoder Instrument, and input 2 goes to carrier input of Vocoder Instrument. This vocoder handles mono inputs... ---------- Jonathan Perl Sonic Arts Center @ CCNY http://sonic.arts.ccny.cuny.edu "Make Sound Your World"
