The strategy in Logic is different, as you found out, in that you're invited to use audio files from everywhere. >makes a copy of that sample to the audio file folder Arrangement>Audio>Convert Regions To Individual Audio Files or Audio>Audio Files>Copy/Convert Files > Is there a more simple (faster) way to copy an effect from one > insert slot to another Open the Audio Configuration window and check out the hand tool. > 4. Is there a way to automatically rename freeze files? Nope, as they're not intended to be renamed. I don't think it is a good idea if you want to keep them doing their task in your song. You can move and rename them, then import into the song *if* they're not 32bit, then tick off the Freeze button, but depending on the exact purpose, Bounce or Merge or Convert Regions To Individual Audio Files is probably way faster. > There is a button in the transport section of the arrange window > that has a H. Check out the Hide feature in the manual. Christian -- homepage http://uk.geocities.com/christianobermaier/home.htm
