Hello! I am using the above combo (without the oxygen, didn't like
it, too flimsy and toyish, so I swapped it with a pcr30). I think
its a good combo for both studio and live use.
I just thought I'd mention to you, that the MIDI ports of the 828
does not and never will work in OS9. You don't mention what OS you
are using, if you are in OSX no prob, but its nice to know about the
OS9 limitations. Its kinda hard to understand from the sales material
and its hidden in the middle of the manual.
And make sure you get a "new" 828 mkII. The first batch has a
problem
with the display (the backlight dies after some time). No problem,
MOTU replaces it immedeately if it happens but better get a new one
the first time (ask the dealer, they should know and make sure you
get a new one and not one from the first shipment, if any still exist)
good luck
