That is true, but I know that there were a lot of people out there using 4.8 in XP with good success. As I stated earlier, not without a few bugs, however. I know that there were quite a lot of people using this combo, because I had contact with a lot of them through the LUG over XP driver issues and the usual new OS stuff. You see, I was one of those idiots that upgraded as soon as XP hit the shelves, and got to by one of the taster rats. That is why it sticks in my mind, and I must say I will never make that mistake again. As to the win 2k install disk, that will be needed if he doesn't already have it and Emagic doesn't have any more (which I doubt they do) they probably wouldn't have any problem with someone sharing the install disk. He already has a licensed copy the 2k install disk was simply an upgrade. Kind Regards, Tod
