Rather than "selecting" then copying and pasting notes from one sequence to another, It's much easier to demix, then glue any multiple sources back together. Thus reducing time of attempting to individually find all notes. The V-drums used to output controller data on separate channels, so that you could put the appropriate controller data to the appropriate drum. It's too bad they took that functionality out of the update. The best combo I've found is to use live cymbals with the V-drums. You get the best of both worlds that way.
