Subject: Re: [LAM] How to keep bottom of Channel Strip on-screen in Arrange? (bug?)
Message #151175
Hi, Many thanks to all who replied; several suggestions helped. I still consider it a bug that needs fixing by Emagic (that the channel strip doesn't compact in the Arrange window), but doing the following can make it stay on-screen even in songs with up to a maximum of about 10 sends/plugs on any one channel: a) Open Audio Config and make sure all channels, including Aux/Buses, have their sends and effects compacted as much as possible - no open spaces between them. Move them together if necessary. Delete any unnecessary effects/sends on the ones that have the most. b) close the parameter boxes in Arrange. c) close the toolbox in Arrange and use 'esc' key to access. One additional workaround I haven't needed yet, but may, is to split up a bus that has too many effects/sends into two, so the total on any one isn't as great. Thanks again to all who replied with suggestions. steven rowat - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - web site: <http://www.rowatworks.com>; mailto:sc@...
