I'm not using it, but when I was shopping for a recording interface a few months ago, I bought and took home the 1010, the layla, Motu 828. Of those boxes, the Layla was far superior in sound. I would have purchased it except the software support in Mac OSX wasn't quite ready for primetime. I ended up with a Mobile IO by Metric halo. It's wonderful, but so far only available for the Mac. Anyway, the Layla 24 was very clean and transparent! Stefan
