Hi Jon, Just copying from one internal drive to another internal drive...total mouse and system freeze, cannont force quit, have to press the power button and reboot. Also in logic, could be playing happily away, then same total freeze except accompanied by a high pitched whine coming from the audio card (hammerfall) outputs. I don't think it has to do with the card, as I had the same behaviour before installing it (used AD-8000 firewire). All diagnostic tests from the apple CD come up OK ; yes 1 Gig xtra ram. > > My dual 2gig G5 has been rock soild with Logic and all other programs.
