I think Metric Halo has to be the best digital i/o out there for Powerbooks. If the MH drivers have been updated for Panther, I'd give that a try. I'm using RME PCI for audio and the MT-4 for midi. Everything is great on the 2X2 G5 with OS 10.3 (Panther) on board.
