Writing automation by moving controls of Channels that don't have a Track in the Arrangement automatically causes Logic to append a Track with this Channel in the arrangement. Scroll down, it's there. To instantiate automation with Hyperdraw only, assign the Aux or Bus object to the current Arrangement Track with apple-click. Doesn't require a checked icon. Christian
