Subject: [LAM] Panther, XSKey problem and startup assistant
Message #149362
Hi everyone I made the upgrade to panther and to logic 6.3.1 over the weekend from OS9.2 (I don't have jaguar). Experiencing strange behavior with the XSkey. When I started 6.3.1 i was expecting the startup assistant to begin however this didn't happen. and when I began startup assistant i get this message. This application will quit now since no XSkey was found or you don't have a valid Logic 6 license. Please connect a XSkey containing a logic 6 license to your USB There is an XSkey connected to my usb port it has the logic 6 permanent keys entered and accepted. Logic has no trouble finding it but the startup assistant does not. When i look at the XSkey authorization window all fields say activate demo. However in OS9 the XSkey manager says everything is OK and my authorizations are permanent. I've tried reinstalling everything but doesn't seem to fix it. Please help! What's going on, is this a problem with the key, logic 6.3.1 or panther? Using G4 800 750Mb ram OSX 10.3 Logic 6.3.1 Digi 001 best wishes Roger
