I had KPs w/ internal sync in every prior OS version too. Plus, in 10.2.8 I had another bizarrre thing I mentioned in another post: mysterious sporadic buzzes printed in the files. Anyway, more or less on the basis of Ryan's success, I ordered my PCI- 424; I'll have to get down to my Mac Store and get my Panther pretty soon. One final note: Four days ago, when I ordered the 424, I separately emailed upgrades@.... I said I had already ordered the 424, then asked point blank if MOTU had an official word on whether the 424 clears up the KP known issue with G4s. Hey, guess what? No response. -Rick
