Baby steps for the nubie... Ok - now I have installed gPort MIDI Setup and assigned it 15 midi ports to match my old studio 5 and now it does show up in Audio MIDI Setup! So I set some synths to match my current setup - saved all and loaded a new song in logic. I checked the environment and the synths DO show up now - but still no midi plays (after I go to a track and select a synth and put in record) ... (the IN light DOES light on the studio 5) but I guess is still not routed properly... Do I need to set a routing setup with new physical inputs and sequencer inputs - or what? ...
