Does anyone know what causes logic to stop with the error message, "Error while trying to synchronise Audio and Midi. Sample rate 30561 recognized. Check conflict between Logic and external device" This is very annoying, even more so in a live situation when everything comes to halt halfway through a song! I'm using a new 17" Powerbook 1ghz with 1gig memory just using the built in audio controller for output to the P.A. I have no midi drivers on this system and I have disabled auto sync detection. Audio sync mode is set to MTC Trigger. It might only happen once during an evening, but that is one time too many! <snipped by admin> Thanks for the floods of replies and helpful advise. Mike.
