I wasn't "trying" to eliminate anyone, only thinking about some
way
Apple/eMagic could have some sort of crass filter for the content they
receive rather than having to police/review it, but I struck my idea in
favor of a better one in a later post. :)

Apple/eMagic have no way of knowing whether you have tons of hardware or
just Logic. Again I was suggesting a "simple" way Apple/eMagic
could
discern those willing to put their money where their mouth is. Again,
that is not to say someone who purchases Logic is necessarily more
"serious" than someone who purchases Gold or Silver, but it is
probably
the only way without going to a great deal of trouble Apple/eMagic can
"measure" people's investment in their work.
However, as I stated, I struck my idea in favor of a better one
suggesting the feature be available to ALL Logic users, registered of
course. I suggested there simply be, say, a $20 submission fee for each
track, which I actually think would work better because my previous
suggestion would allow the user to post unlimited tracks just by
purchasing Logic whereas this latter suggestion makes the user think
twice about posting (albeit he/she only needs to sell 31 copies to break
even) and Apple/eMagic are guaranteed something for their efforts on
each track regardless how many are posted or how well they do.

Yes. You are correct. :)
It is nice to see yet another glimpse of the promise of a company which
produces both the hardware and the software :)
Take care
