Subject: [LAM] mobile i/o vs mobile i/o +dsp
Message #136325
Hi all I have read the spec and reviews but am confused about the difference between the dsp and ordinary version. I am unlikely to need plugins as I will use the host Logic, powercore and uad plugins for effects along with TL Audio C1 at analogue stage, but is there any other advantage in getting the +dsp version? I will not be requiring to chain more than one unit together, will only need 8 x analogue in and out, firewire and SPDIF i/o dual 1gHz G4. Does the dsp add any extra performance in Logic or better latency? Or is it mainly for the future plugins Ta Pete www.petethomas.co.uk
