Subject: [LAM] - ERROR - "Core Audio: Disk is too slow..."
Message #134057
MY SYSTEM: Dual 1gig Mac (1st mirror door series) 768mb RAM running Logic 5.5 on OS 10.2.4. 3 drives: Logic loaded on 80gb system drive; 120gb internal used for back up, 100gb FireWire for audio only. Buffer is set to 128; max recording time from 5 to 7 minutes depending on the tune. Nuendo (RME) Digiset Interface and a Tascam DM24 mixer - all hooked up via Light Pipe cables. The DM24 is set to master. --------------------------- HERE'S MY PROBLEM: While trying to transfer/record 8 tracks of 48k audio into Logic from my ADAT silver face, I get about 3-4 minutes into the tune and get the error message on Logic: "Core Audio: Disk is too slow or system overloaded (-10008)." I tried recording to the 120gb internal instead of the FW drive and got the same error message. I increased my buffer from 128 to 512 - same error. Switching clock to Logic makes my system freak. Any ideas? Armen
