Live inputs, and the selected VSTi or logic instruments use the "Midi" processor. If you have an audio interface with multi I/O, try this workaround. Take an output, assign a send to go to that output. Take the output, and, using an audio cable, route it to an available input. Insert a FX to the live input. You are using the second processor. I set up my system with 4 live inputs and outputs, and get at least a few extra reverbs going that otherwise wouldn't be going. So with a little work, you CAN use the second processor.
