I haven't seen the SoS article, but now I'm a little confused too. Emagics plugins aren't really "plugins", they are a part of the app itself. And they have always had custom graphics (well, most of them do), even since the first release for OS X. But Logic's plugins are not Audio Units. If you are not seeing custom graphics for Logic's plugins, then it is probably because you don't have QuickTime installed. The Logic plugins require QuickTime for their custom graphics. But that all has nothing to do with Audio Units. Audio Units, since v2.0 of the API, can have custom graphics, and nothing in the operating system has prevented that from being possible. Marc
