Subject: LAW-HELP: AW2/Composer-What driver delay settings?
Message #12673
Hi all, Even though it`s referenced in both the manual and the internal Help guide, in Logic Audio Composer (which came with my recently purchased AW2) there is no setting for: "Preferences > Audio Extensions > PC AV > Playback Driver Delay" In Composer (sort of a Silver/Gold hybrid), the only Preferences settings for the audio driver are choices of input and monitoring - nothing about delay parameters. I have found that even though I`ve pasted audio objects perfectly on the beat in the arrange page, all audio is about 30 ms later than indicated by the sequencer so, for example, if I`m cycling one bar I`ll hear a snip of audio from the tail end of the previous bar each time it loops. How can I introduce a negative delay globally to compensate if such a setting is absent? Anyone else using Composer got around this one? Thanks in advance, Adrian Gill AW2 / Logic Audio Composer 3.6 Windows 98 (2nd edition) Pentium 200 96Mb i430VX Chipset Matrox Millenium PCI graphics
