This sounds like a user bug :-) To get it straight: BPM == beats per minute == quarter notes per minute Therefor when you have a tempo of 115 BPM and want it displayed in terms of dotted quarter notes then it will be displayed as 115*2/3v.6666~w. Either your understanding of what the tempo indicator does depict is simply wrong (kind of sounds like it from what you write - no offence intended) OR use a BPM5*3/22.5 Alternatively you could change the measure to 8/ (or 4/4) and notate all in trioles (note that I won't suggest that).
