LAWP USERS: I don't believe what I just read. I think this an outraged. Especially, for those who just spent a fortune on a Logic Control, LAWP 5 and a new computer to run all of it. I don't understand how emagic can make a decision to do something so low down without even a warning to their windows based customer. I have a fully blown Logic PC based system and it wasn't cheap. I love Emagic because I felt that they catered to users that don't have 6,000 to 10,000 to spend on a system that will give them professional reliable results but it seems that like a friend told me 5 years (when I made the switch from Cakewalk to Emagic), Emagic is a Mac company will always be a Mac company and not to be dragged in by the Emagic PC revoultion because eventually they will become entirely MAC based again. This is my question EMAGIC: 1. How many PC package of LAWP 5/Logic Control did you sell and knew that you were in the midst of being aquired by Apple? (not to mention the extra virtual inst.) 2. Did you consider a cross grade option for PC users that love and support the Emagic Software that are willing to by a Mac despite their dislike for Apple? 3. What if all the PC registered users band together and launch a Law suit against Emagic? YOU KNOW AS I CONTINUE TO WRITE I AM GETTING MORE UPSET. MY COMPLETE STUDIO IS BASED ON LAWP. I GUESS I GOT UNTIL SEPTEMBER TO EITHER GET A MAC OR SEARCH FOR A COMPANY THAT CONSIDERS IT'S USER NEEDS IN MAKING THEIR BUSINESS DECISIONS. EMAGIC THIS IS THE MOST UNDER HANDED THING A COMPANY CAN DO AND I PRAY THAT IT BECOMES THE DEATH OF YOU. REMEMBER, EMAGIC WITH OR WITHOUT YOU THE MARKET WILL BE OVER FLOODED BY MORE WINDOWS BASED PC MUSICIANS THAN APPLE. MOST UPINCOMING MUSICIANS DON'T HAVE 5,000 DOLLARS TO SPEND ON A COMPLETE SYSTEM THAT WILL ALSO COST AN ARM AND LEG TO UPGRADE. SO, I GUESS STEINBERG AND CAKEWALK IS ABOUT TO GET VERY BUSY.
