Well, there was rumours for a long time that Apple were going to do a 'Final Cut Pro' in the audio market... Everyone thought it was going to be MOTU, but it's been our dear Emagic instead. If Apple's track record with FCP is anything to go buy, concentrating on a single platform is really going to take Logic Audio back a huge stepforward. Just have a look at FCP now and compare to what it was when Apple picked the company up... I feel gutted for the PC users, but it does make for an interesting scenario if nothing else. Now there's a fair number of apps that aren't crossplatform either way (PC ones or Mac ones). I'll miss using Logic on my laptop, having said that.
